Trans Justice Pledge

We all deserve the freedom to be ourselves, to feel safe in our communities, and to build good lives free from discrimination.

But right now the trans community is under attack from cynical politicians who are threatening our rights, lives, and healthcare.

That’s why, ahead of the next election, we are mobilising across the continent to call on individuals and candidates to sign the Trans Justice Pledge – a public commitment to fight for the freedom and equality of trans and gender-diverse people.

Together, we will have thousands of conversations, build power in our communities, and put pressure on candidates to reject the scapegoating of our communities.

We are calling on all candidates to commit to:

  • Protect trans youth from attacks on their health care.
  • Make trans healthcare accessible and affordable for everyone who needs it
  • Support reforms that give trans people the same rights and protections as everyone else.
  • Invest in trans lives by combatting homelessness, poverty, and unemployment.
Demand all candidates take the Trans Justice Pledge
