All trans and gender-diverse people deserve freedom, justice and equality. And we need to be at the centre of decisions about our lives and healthcare.
But here in Queensland, the government is attacking our community. In January 2025, the Queensland government blocked access to gender affirming care for trans young people.
Gender affirming care is life-changing, and often life-saving, healthcare that is essential for many trans young people to grow up healthy, happy and with the freedom to be themselves. And we demand that the government reinstate it immediately.
That’s why our community is taking a stand. By organising together, we can build a movement powerful enough to take on the Queensland government and win a future where all trans and gender diverse people are safe, celebrated and free.
