Trans and gender-diverse people deserve to live with the freedom to be our authentic selves, to be safe in our communities, and to have the same rights and protections as everyone else. 

But anti-trans billionaires, their lobbyists and politicians are running multi-million dollar campaigns to bring Trump-style hate campaigns to Australia.

That’s why GiveOUT Day is so important. It is Australia’s annual day of giving to LGBTSBQIA+ non-profit organisations and initiatives. It is a chance for organisations like ours to raise vital funds and to celebrate the work of others. 

Last year we raised more than $11,000 and this has helped us do so much. 

Over the last year, our powerful movement has been fighting hard for trans justice.

❌ Last October, we came together to keep notorious anti-trans campaigner Kellie-jay Keen out of the country. 

📢 Then, when the Queensland government cruelly blocked trans youth’s access to gender affirming healthcare, we mobilised 16,300 people in a nationwide rally to reinstate care. 

🗳️ During the election, our campaign won support from 172 candidates for the Trans Justice Pledge, a public commitment to fight for freedom, justice and equality for all trans and gender diverse people. 

✊🏼 Since then, we’ve been ramping up our campaign to reinstate gender affirming care for trans youth in Queensland. We’ve exposed the government’s sham ‘review’, the dodgy reasons for blocking access to care, and kept up the public pressure.

Together, we’re fighting to win affordable and accessible gender affirming healthcare for everyone who needs it, to make sure our community has the things they need to live good lives, like housing and employment, and to ensure that trans and gender-diverse people are treated equally and properly protected by the law, just like everyone else. 

And with the support of our community and allies, our movement can be truly unstoppable.
